Responses to the White Leftist Terrorist - A great commentary

There is some swearing.

Desperate for answers and attempting to stifle their own fears, many top Republicans are blaming the horrific shooting at a Republican baseball practice on Democrats.
One of these people is former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, who responded to the shooting by blaming the Left for what he calls “vulgarities.” In an interview with Fox News host Melissa Francis, Gingrich took what should have been a conversation about gun control and making the country safer, and turned it into a pathetic roast of the Democratic Party.
In this appearance, Gingrich tried to convince Fox viewers that the left-wing “hysteria” has drastically increased ever since Donald Trump was elected, and he used an incident in which Kathy Griffin was photographed with a prop that looked like Trump’s severed head as an example – clearly ignoring the many times conservatives “lynched” former President Barack Obama. Gingrich said:
“The intensity on the left is very real. Whether it’s a so-called comedian holding up the president’s head in blood, or it’s right here, in New York City, a play that shows the president being assassinated. Or it’s Democratic leading national politicians who are so angry they have to use vulgarity because they can’t find any common language.”
Francis could not believe her ears. Acknowledging the fact that there were still more details related to the shooting to be revealed, the Fox host objected and asked Gingrich if he had any right to blame Democrats for the actions of the shooter. She grilled him:
“With respect, though, even if everything you’re saying is true, to talk about it in those kinds of terms, in left and right, right now in the wake of it, does that make sense?”

Gingrich started to respond, “If you want to know the truth”, but Francis jumped in and encouraged him to “rise above it.” Gingrich, of course, objected and continued to be petty.
