Grandma M asked Retriever to talk about why the numbers on the invoices DO NOT ADD up to $357.00 which she was charged for the tow. The following is their response followed by my (Richard's) response to Retriever.

Up to $20,000 Fine to Tower for Blatant disregard of the 2007 Towing Laws. (The fine is written into the law.)

SAYS: TOWER MUST KEEP (paper) RECORDS FOR 2 YEARS. (I believe It also
says you must keep electronic records for another 3 years.)
You have the original records - which are clearer.
MARCIA WAS ASKING:
1. DOT NUMBER
2. PLEASE ADD UP THE ORIGINAL TOWING CHARGE PRICE SHEET.
3. PLEASE ADD UP THE RECEIPT (original) WHICH YOU HAVE IN THE MARCIA BRISCO FILE.
4. SEND THE CREDIT CARD RECEIPT.

MARCIA WAS NOT PARKED IN A FIRE ZONE. We took our own pictures. The
Fire Zone is 50 Feet away. Interesting: The Fire Zone allows cars
parked on one side: 15 Food of clearance. WHERE MARCIA WAS PARKED
THERE IS 22 FEET OF CLEARANCE. There are NO FIRE ZONE DESIGNATIONS
ANYWHERE NEAR WHERE MARCIA WAS PARKED.
If you DO NOT HAVE
THE RECORDS which Marcia is requesting THEN YOU ARE IN BLATANT VIOLATION
OF THE 2007 STATE LAW WHICH REGULATES YOU.
Please sent the
pictures, DOT number, Receipt added up and the Unregulated Tow Charge
Sheet added up as well? Richard will bring in your illegal form with
HOLD HARMLESS crossed out in a week or two. We are still gathering lots
of information.
Marcia and I can prove the numbers DO NOT
ADD UP TO $357.00. NUMBERS NOT ADDING UP TO THE AMOUNT CHARGED IS A
VIOLATION OF THE 2007 TOWING LAWS.
