When you hear conservative Congressmen shouting from high atop their golden soapboxes that the United States has, “The best health care delivery system in the world” …don’t believe it!
The U.S. has routinely been ranked embarrassingly low in health care performance when compared to to other wealthy nations, despite the fact that the U.S. has the most expensive system in the world. According to a new Mirror, Mirror report by The Commonwealth Fund the U.S.ranks LAST when compared to the 11 countries studied. Those countries were – Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The U.S. also ranked last in 2010, 2007, 2006, 2004.
