What is wrong with our school systems? It is not the teachers.

Common Core standards were created to equalize education across incomes — to make the quality of education that students from affluent families get available to students from poor families.

However, the extreme focus on testing might be creating an education system that lacks a whole lot of things that are really, really important. This kid nails the problem with Common Core in a new way, claiming that we're ruining the way we teach and learn. It's keeping teachers from doing what they're so good at and students from being real human learners.
