Jon Stewart Rips Congress for Pretending They're Shocked Over NSA Spying

Jon Stewart mocked House Intelligence Committee chair Rep. Mike Rogers (R-MI) on Wednesday for brushing off criticism about the National Security Agency’s (NSA) spying activities by arguing that he has not heard specific complaints about the agency breaching private citizens’ privacy.
“Of course you can’t have your privacy violated if you don’t know your privacy is being violated,” Stewart said. “Spying is like health care — if you never find that tumor in your ball sack, it can’t kill you. It’s like Benjamin Franklin once said: ‘Those who would trade liberty for security should never find out that the decision has already been made for them.’”
