Drunken and passed out girl gets gang raped: She commits suicide. 9 months later, the boys are arrested

Another case of a drunken and passed out girl who got raped and pictures spread over the internet so she committed suicide last fall.  The boys are finally arrested and the case is moving forward.  Is this more common than we think?
