Seattle, Dec2011, Totem Pole

This is Seattle. I stopped there to and from Juneau. The totem pole is being made by natives in memory of a carver who got killed by police in Seattle last year. The carver lived in Seattle for years and was walking down the street with a stick. A policeman felt he was a danger to him and shot him. A settlement was reached and part of it was the Native Community could make a large totem pole in his memory. There are some Natives working on the totem pole much of the day.

There is little justice in this world. "Man's inhumanity to man"
At least he will live on in his memorial Totem.
