Super Snow in Juneau!

I got a call from Juneau and it has been getting massive snow. There are avalanches around Juneau. They wanted to know where my truck keys are because they need to clear the road it is parked on. I guess there has been feet of snow and more snow is expected!

It is raining in Portland, OR.
The picture is of Multnomah Falls, OR.

How terrible! I am glad you are in Oregon and out of the line of danger.

When are you headed back to Alaska?

Kallen.

I fly out next Saturday. When it gets snowy, I just park the vehicle and walk or take the bus. I might chain up to go to the glacier area. I do not have to go around the Avalanche areas. In general, sounds like Jan is super white but safe to most. Avalanches can take out electriciy.

Great photo of the falls! Even though I live here, it's nice to see such a picturesque photo! (I found you blog through Kallen's by the way.)

Whenever I am in Oregon, I like to check out the Gorge. It is a pretty amazing place with lots of snow and ice. I saw an Eagle and a hawk out here too.
