Tikigaq Village Cemetary. Whale Bone fence surrounds it. Picture.

We have had a constant cold wind from the North since last Friday.  I hiked to the old village and checked out the cemetery which has a whale bone fence.  I got to check out the houses they lived in as well.  No insulation.  One house did have dirt up the walls for insulation and it was less windy than the rest.  I know where to hide in a big storm if I can't get back to town.  I also know of a sod house which is usable for an emergency as well.
