Floated about 18 miles on the Cowlitz River Saturday

Gar and I floated the Cowlitz River on a super sunny day.  We were the only people on the River which made it great.  We saw a newborn elk, a deer swam across the river right in front of us.  An eagle spent 10 minutes doing multiple dives trying to eat some baby ducks.  I look like a lobster from the sun and I even put on sun screen.

It was a great day.  It has been awhile.  My body is sore today though, we did a lot of paddling.
