Mendenhall Glacier last weekend

This is Mendenhall Glacier last weekend. It still has ice on most of it but it is getting thinner. We have a sunny day in Juneau and it is 50 degrees - pretty wonderful day!

Rich: 3/11 I am in Juneau, AK. I will be heading to the lower 48 in June. I have been able to hike over ice to Mendenhall Glacier until today 3/27/11. It was 45 degrees and the ice is getting flaky. Climate Change is real!
