Snowing like crazy this AM! Vote Obama!
I called Ash and told her about the snow that is coming down hard here in Juneau. She said take a picture. I went on the front porch and took these shots.
I just got back from shoveling half of a two car driveway and it immediately got another 1/2 inch of snow. Still coming down hard. I am going to park the truck and walk to town after i finish shoveling. I have Chicken stew on the stove for later.
No one has mentioned closing down school because of snow. The power goes out a lot. We lost power about 4 times last week at school, but for 1 hour or less. I will find out if school closes. They are pretty good about plowing around here. They are used to snow.
I am another "jealous" of your snow viewer. It is still too hot to turn on the oven to bake cookies here. T has to bake our pies and meals in her barbecuer outside. Just wrong for late October!
LOVE IT!! WE are so jealous. It is all nice and sunny here. Booooo!

Yum. How often do they close school for snow? Will you have a few days off this week do you think?

ReplyDeleteLove the pictures! We have the kids "oohh"ing and "aahhh"ing over the snow.
ReplyDeleteSky says "Obama! Obama! Obama!"

ReplyDeleteYou have to admit though that Tricia sure cooks good food on that Barbeque.
ReplyDeleteI was very impressed with her skills. She makes everything taste great. An oven is a bit easier though.
