Avalanche, from Douglas
Here is the Avalanche from Douglas, across the Gastineau Channel. It is one big hill. People are still talking about the loudness and the scariness of the Avalanche. It was about 300 yards wide.
300 Yards!! Holy smokes, I can only imagine the noise.
