Simply beautiful. The 18 inches are on top of what though? HA, now wonder everyone travels around via snowmobile. I don't know how you all do it seriously.
I hate slush. It is so gross and I hate walking in it.
Eveyone here is complaining about driving in snow. We have a lot of hills in Juneau. I want snow in the ski area but they are getting rain too. I guess this snow storm was caused by Cold Air from the Canadian Yukon coming in and moisture from the ocean - they collided and we got lots of snow. Then the Yukon air went back to Canada and we just had rain. I prefer the snow myself. It was like 30 degrees so it really was not cold.
As usual simply beautiful, Missouri had a storm warning too, less then 2 inches of snow here, just enough to make slippery streets...lol, thankfully it was not 18 inches....
I remember the slickness of Missouri winters. I think Missouri was the first place I had to deal with freezing rain and black ice. I am finding the snow gets rained on and melts fast, kind of a short lived phenomena. kind of like the sun around here. I was on recess and a teacher looked up and smiled - blue sky and sun. It was great to see but gone within 10 minutes.
